FIFA to start testing goal-line technology

FIFA are to test 10 different Goal-Line-Tech (GLT) ideas starting next week.

My first instinct is that FIFA will choose the solution that benefits either the organisation, or their individual wallets, most financially. When in fact they should pick the solution which best suits today’s modern football.

It’s a real shame that my trust in FIFA seems to have been blown after the revelations of 2010. I really hope that in years to come Blatter will be removed and a new regime can install this faith in supporters again.
