Awkward answer to the "What's their story?" game.
After playing a game of "What's their story?" with a friend in All Bar One, I just had to go and ask this couple exactly what their story was. The result was an awkward back and forth that made me feel horribly uncomfortable at times but in end I got my answer!
Me: Hi guys. Sorry to interrupt your evening, but me and a friend have been playing a game where you try and guess a couples 'story'.
Couple:
Me: Do you mind if I ask what number date you're on?
Girl: We've known each other 7 years.
Me: You are on a date though right?
Guy: Yes.
Girl: I'm currently going through a divorce.
Me: OH!.... awkward question then I guess... How many dates so far though?
Guy: One and a half.
Me: Thanks! Have a great night guys!
* Note - We had guessed that they were on the 3rd date.
